Italian Story Time😄
My last day in Italia, my grandma, my aunt and I went over the Rialto Bridge (during the day with a thousand other people). We stopped into a tiny murano glass jewelry store that a friend had told us about. My grandma and my aunt spent awhile looking around and at some point I picked out bracelets for myself, my mom and my sisters. The lady (who ran the store and a couple others with her sons) told me that my bracelet was made by a special material. (She spoke some English, but wasn't fluent.) Then I decided to get the earrings I wanted to buy, because they were made out of special material and I had only bought some cheap sunglasses, postcards, and gelato the entire trip.
Halfway through packing up all our purchases, she stopped, measured my neckline, and *made* me a (complimentary) necklace! ❤️❤️
It's not a very adventurous story but it made my last day in Italia extra special! Especially after I had been indecisive about what to bring home with me. Right after this we went back to the hotel so I could try to get to my MSP airport hotel not too late! (That night is a **slightly** more interesting story😂) •
P.S. I posted another *little* story about me getting to Verona solo on my blog (link in bio).
